What is StarMeet?
StarMeet is a free Vedic astrology (Jyotish) platform that computes natal charts, compatibility analysis, and daily Panchang using classical Indian methodology. Our goal is to make authentic Vedic astrology accessible to everyone — in English, Russian (Русский), and Hindi (हिन्दी) — without paywalls, subscriptions, or forced signups.
We compute 90+ astrological data points per chart: planetary positions in signs and houses, nakshatra padas, Vimshottari and Chara Dasha periods, 20+ divisional charts (Vargas D1–D60), real-time transits, and special planetary conditions (Vargottama, Gandanta, Combustion, Retrograde, Digbala).
Our Methodology
All calculations follow the principles of Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra (BPHS), the foundational Jyotish text attributed to the sage Parashara, along with modern interpretations by K.N. Rao — one of the foremost contemporary authorities on classical Vedic astrology.
Our default ayanamsa is Raman (B.V. Raman), a well-researched system preferred by many classical practitioners. We also support Lahiri (Indian government standard), True Chitrapaksha, Krishnamurti, and Fagan-Bradley.
